Inside Beyond Procurement, there’s no such thing as “that’s not my job.”
We’re a small, passionate team of multi-hat-wearing problem solvers who thrive on collaboration, adaptability, and shared purpose. When one person needs support, the rest step in — because that’s how meaningful change happens: together.
We love working with clients who share that same spirit. The ones who invite us in, treat us as part of their team, and genuinely want to make a difference. Together, we embed sustainability not just in reports, but in everyday decisions and company culture.
Going Beyond the Bottom Line
Beyond Procurement was born from a simple belief: that good business and sustainability should never be at odds.
Our story began in 2007 as Meercat Associates, helping organisations reduce costs and operate more efficiently — or as we called it back then, “become greener.” Even in those early days, we knew that commercial drivers are the most powerful for change. We helped businesses cut waste, streamline operations, and make smarter procurement decisions that were both profitable and sustainable.
As the world evolved, so did we. Environmental projects became not just part of what we did — they became our passion and our purpose. When the world paused during COVID, we took the opportunity to rebuild around that core belief. That’s when Beyond Procurement was born — to help businesses go beyond simply buying well, and start operating well for the planet.
Today, we guide businesses on their journey to reduce carbon and emissions in a commercially viable way. We bridge the gap between procurement and sustainability — two functions that have too often worked in isolation. We show our clients that cost efficiency and carbon efficiency are not opposites; they are two sides of the same coin.
People, Not Just a Platform
We often say we’re like carbon coaches. Our role isn’t to hand over a login and wish clients good luck. We walk beside them, doing the heavy lifting when needed, guiding them step-by-step like a personal trainer would in a gym.
Because sustainability isn’t about data alone — it’s about action and results. We combine intelligent systems with real human partnership, ensuring every client not only understands their carbon footprint but actually moves toward reducing it.
Leadership & Values
Our founder, Andrew Childers, leads from the front. He’s a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up leader who thrives at the coalface of projects — often too involved, by his own admission — because he believes in leading by example.
His core values are determination, authenticity, and impact. Andrew’s not interested in sustainability as a tick-box exercise; he’s driven by seeing real change, helping businesses take meaningful action that benefits both their bottom line and the world around them.

I am dedicated to forging meaningful connections with companies who share our commitment to sustainability and want to do the right thing for their people, their communities and the planet. I also provide strategic support to Beyond’s sales and marketing functions.
In my spare time I love volunteering with the homeless, walking in forests and exploring creativity through art, cooking and fashion!

LINDSEY ROBERTS
SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANT
With a Bachelors in Marine Biology (Texas A&M) and a Masters in Environmental Biology (Swansea University) my passion is to forge a more sustainable planet for future generations. My strengths lie in Carbon Calculations, ISO 14001 and 9001 audits and CSR/ESG report writing as well as BREEAM infrastructure support.
In my free time I enjoy playing violin and experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes. Let’s go Beyond Together!

COST REDUCTION MANAGER
I am a versatile member of the Beyond Procurement team. As Cost Reduction Manager, I love helping people find the best savings within their business, but I also enjoy managing IT systems, automaton development and supplier relations.
When I'm not working, I love building and painting models and staying active by going to the gym.

With a MSc in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability I specialise in conducting comprehensive carbon footprint assessments and developing actionable sustainability strategies for our clients.
My role reflects my commitment to delivering tailored solutions that align with our clients business goals and promote long-term sustainability and Net Zero.

DATA ANALYST APPRENTICE
I am a valued member of the Beyond procurement team. As the Data Analyst Apprentice I'm becoming very adept at sorting information of all kinds and the go-to Excel expert in the team. I also manage our social media content.
Outside of work I like to work on myself in the gym as this helps me stay focused and motivated.
